After beating the league-leading Boston Bruins the Oilers are on a two-game winning streak and are 6-3-1 in their last 10. While that is a pretty decent past 10, the rest of the teams in the Pacific Division are doing just as well.

The Edmonton Oilers need to keep winning if they want to have a chance for home ice in the playoffs or winning the division. The way the Oilers are playing I have a feeling that they will be getting home ice for at least the first round.

This game tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs would be a good start for the Edmonton Oilers. They got the ball rolling last game against the Bruins, but they need to keep going,

The Edmonton Oilers hosted the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 1st and beat them handily 5-2. After the first period, the Oilers were already up 3-1. This was one of the better games the Edmonton Oilers played all year.

The Oilers always seem to play well against the Maple Leafs, and even worse for the Leafs Connor McDavid always seems to bring his “A” game against Toronto, in the 5-2 win McDavid scored two goals and one assist in the first period.

The Edmonton Oilers Must Push The Leafs Tonight

The Toronto Maple Leafs, just like the Boston Bruins are among the NHL’s elite teams. They are having a really good season and made a lot of moves at the deadline and have improved since the last time these teams met.

Both teams will have this game like a playoff game. The Maple Leafs are in a fight for positioning, just like the Oilers are. Both teams need the 2 points, so expect them to bring their best today.
