With the Edmonton Oilers being down 2-0 morale around Edmonton is pretty bleak. This upcoming game 3 is very important for any Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup hopes. If the Oilers lose tonight, they can kiss almost any chance of winning the Cup goodbye, winning 4 straight games against the Florida Panthers is a nearly impossible challenge. On the other hand, a win tonight would give the Oilers a glimmer of hope and some momentum.

Another good thing that could come out of an Oilers win tonight is confidence for this Oilers team. Right now the Oilers must be feeling like whatever they do against Florida they can't score a goal. Through the two games, they only have one goal. If they can win one game they will know it is possible to win and the Panthers will be aware that they can lose.
