The quality type of players the Edmonton Oilers will be looking to add to the roster

However, to speak on the players the team will be looking for based on the roster, provided the players will be defensive savvy with a reasonable scoring touch added. This will give the Oilers a twist of ingredients they will need to dominate like last year.

Resigning Leon Draisaitl would be fine for the team if all goes the right way, and according to the moves made, it could become a significant move on the GM's part, where Draisaitl is asking for at least $13 million a year type deal.

The first type of player who comes to mind that would be interested in playing for the Edmonton Oilers would be a bottom-six forward who performs the duties of a solid type of defender. His ability makes it miserable for the opposing team's offense to get anywhere near the net or shots on the net.

As mentioned, a seasoned vet or a couple of good prospects would help build this team with a tweak or two more with the help of the scouts in the organization and the coaching brilliance of head coach Chuck Knoblauch.
