However, the season has been anything but smooth, with the Predators currently on the outside looking in when it comes to playoff contention. Their underwhelming performance may force them to explore significant changes as they try to salvage their season or pivot toward building for the future.
If Nashville does decide to shake things up, the Edmonton Oilers should be one of the first teams to pick up the phone.
