Today we are gearing up for an exciting game as the Edmonton Oilers take on the Minnesota Wild at Rogers Place. The Oilers have been on a roll, winning their last five games and are slowly crawling our way back to the playoff picture. The Wild, on the other hand, have had a mixed season so far and are looking to bounce back after a tough loss to the Vancouver Canucks last night.

The Oilers have been led by their star forward Connor McDavid, who has been on fire this season. McDavid has already racked up 32 points in 21 games, moving his way back up the scoring league after a slow start. It’s not just McDavid who has been shining for the Oilers. Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman have all been contributing to the team’s success, and the Oilers’ defense has been solid as of late as well.

The Wild, meanwhile, have been struggling to find their footing this season. They currently sit in seventh place in the Central Division and have a record of 9-11-4. But despite their struggles, the Wild have some talented players on their roster. Kirill Kaprizov, and Mats Zuccarello have had a slow start to the season and unlike McDavid, they haven’t started to pick it up yet.

As the two teams prepare to face off, fans can expect a fast-paced, high-scoring game. The Oilers have been average at home this season, with a record of 6-4-1 at Rogers Place. The Wild, however, haven’t been any better on the road with a record of 4-7-2 away from home. It should be an interesting matchup between two teams with different strengths.
