The NHL has released the schedule for the first round. The one series we all care about though is the Edmonton Oilers vs the Los Angeles Kings.

It was a tight race near the end of the season, but the Edmonton Oilers were unable to catch the Vegas Golden Knights for first place so the Oilers finished second in the Pacific Division and will play the third-place Los Angeles Kings.

These two teams split the regular season series 2-2. The Kings won the first two early in the season while the Oilers won the last two near the end of the season.

The fact that these teams went two games apiece during the regular season makes this an interesting series to me. While I do think the Edmonton Oilers will win the series in 5 games, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a chance the Kings do win. They have a solid team.

Edmonton Oilers Vs Los Angeles Kings Schedule

With the Edmonton Oilers finishing the season in a better position than the Kings they will be at home for games one, two, five and seven. If five and seven are required. The Kings will host three, four and six if required.

The problem with LA is there are lots of other events that require Crypto.com Arena. So there is a large gap between games five and six because of this. Game six is 4 days after game five. That to me is ridiculous.

I am looking forward to watching every single one of these games. I am pretty upset about is the huge gap between games 5 and 6, but like I said earlier I don’t think it is going to make it to game 6 cause the Oilers will take it in 5. How do you think this series will go?
