Edmonton Oilers Versus Ottawa Senators Pregame
The Edmonton Oilers are on the first game of a back-to-back versus Canadian clubs as they take on the Ottawa Senators today at 10:30 AM. The Oilers are on a good streak of getting points. The issue in the last few games is the Oilers have played bad games, but still have gotten points in those games.
Edmonton Oilers Need To Continue To Beat Weaker Teams
The Edmonton Oilers so far this season have done a good job at least getting the point against teams that they should win. Hopefully, they can continue this streak. The Oilers are in the middle of a fight for the Pacific Division lead; every point counts right now.
The last two games against the Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers are examples of this. They didn’t play their best games, but they were still able to walk out with 3 of the 4 points in those games.

Taking a look at these lineups there is no doubt as to why the Edmonton Oilers are favoured to win this game. With the Edmonton Oilers ability to beat lower teams this year, I would have to assume this game will go to the Oilers.
The Oilers have struggled with their starts post-all-star game so if the Edmonton Oilers can solve that issue today and get on the board early this game could turn into a runaway. McDavid and Draisaitl haven’t had a solid game since the all-star break I think tonight could be that game.
