Back when Jim Benning was GM of the Canucks, he might’ve actually considered this one….maybe. He traded for the worst contract in hockey intentionally so even he could be conned into this. Right?
Hey, think of the powerhouse duo we’d have on D if we had one pairing with Hughes and one pairing with Nurse on the left side…..we’d be unstoppable.
Is Patrick Allvin naive enough to accept this one? Highly doubtful.
