The PK right now is a miserable 26th in the league right now, at a dismal 73.3%.

Speaking to better defensive play, that goes for special teams as well as at even strength. The Edmonton Oilers are allowing far too many PP goals for my taste. The Edmonton Oilers finished in 17th in the NHL last year, and I was hoping to see them in the top 10 this season. The PK has to get a lot better as well if the Oilers are to move back into a playoff spot.

Clean up the even strength GA, and clean up the PP GA. Goes for both. Probably doesn’t help that we have to put Mattias Janmark on one of the units, considering that he hasn’t practiced at all on it and is learning to play it on the fly. But, such is the reality of injuries.
