Max Domi

Max Domi younger player that has lots of experience for his age.  Being 27 years old Domi already has 501 regular season and 24 playoff games under his belt. His career already has had home played on 4 teams in his 7 year career.

A young player that has moved around that much usually has some sort of issue in his game or attitude. Looking at his statistical numbers there is no issue with his game. Over his 501 games played he averages 0.63 points per game.

To put that in perspective Jesse Puljujarvi averaged 0.55 points per game this season. If the Edmonton Oilers choose to move on from Puljujarvi this offseason, Domi could be a replacement. Currently Domi has a cap hit of $5.3 million, which will be higher than what Puljujarvi will make.

I think Domi would look at doing a sweetheart deal with the Edmonton Oilers this offseason. If he comes to Edmonton there is a chance that would be able to put up big numbers and get more money and term after this season.

That is the good thing about having McDavid and Draisaitl is some players may take a bit of a pay cut on a short term deal. If they have success it could mean more money in the long term.
