The NHL released the updated schedule for all the teams. So far in the 2021-2022 season the Edmonton Oilers have had 9 games postponed due to COVID related issues.  They have all been rescheduled from February 8 through to March 7. Here are the new games that need to be added to your calendar at home.

Vegas @ Edmonton-February 8-7:00PM

Chicago @ Edmonton-February 9-6:00PM

Islanders @ Edmonton-February 11-7:00PM

Edmonton @ San Jose-February 14-8:30PM

Edmonton @ Los Angeles-February 15-8:30PM

Anaheim @ Edmonton-February 17-7:00PM

Edmonton @ Winnipeg- February 19-1:00PM

Minnesota @ Edmonton-February 20-6:00PM

Edmonton @ Calgary-March 7-7:30PM

This has really made for a busy February. The Edmonton Oilers are now going to have to play 12 games in the 28 days of February and have two sets of back to backs. This is going to be a stretch that will decide if the Edmonton Oilers are a playoff team or not. If they can get hot in February this will be a good chance to move up the standing.

The Oilers are currently sitting 7th in the Pacific Division. They are currently 7 points behind the 3rd place Anaheim Ducks. The Oilers do have games in hand on most of the teams in front of them in the standing which is the only good news about where they are. This is why winning the rescheduled games are important if the Oilers want to be a playoff team. They need to win those games in hand.

Three Things to Help This Edmonton Oilers Team Now. light. Hot

The Oilers have currently not won a game since December 18 when they beat the expansion Seattle Kraken. Since then the Edmonton Oilers have dropped 6 straight games. The Oilers slide have currently taken them out of a playoff spot. The Oilers need to get back in the win column quickly and they will need to stay there if they want to have home ice advantage in the playoffs.
