Who will lead the team in points?

Colton Pankiw: Connor McDavid is the no-brainer here. His 2020-21 season is one of the best ever by an NHLer, and there is no reason to expect anything less in 2021-22. I truly think he could flirt with 150 points this year.

Nick Lariviere: McDavid of course. Unless McDavid gets injured there is no way he doesn’t get the most points, he is the best player in the league currently and will continue to show domination on the ice.

Sean Mallon: McDavid. An 82 game season ahead, and fully healthy, he should score at a pace not seen since the mid-90s. 150 points isn’t out of reach for the game’s best player

Phil Gretzky: Connor McDavid He needs no introduction, the best player in the league who’s not slowing down anytime soon and is only ramping up.

Devon Hladunewich: Connor McDavid-156

I do not think it will come to a surprise to any of us if Connor McDavid come back this season even better than he was last season. Last season in 56 games he got 105 points. Over an 82 game season that would break out to 154 point season. The projection in points I have him getting next season is 156 points. I have the low forecast at 146 and the high at 166. It is scary to think that my low projection is at 146 points and that I would be disappointed if he didn’t get that. That would be the highest since Jaromir Jagr got 149 in the 1995-96 season.

Jimmy Lynch: McDavid. I cannot wait to see what he does with a full 82 game season.
