Oilers Vs Flames: Date, Time, Streaming, Lineup, More

Two teams that definitely do not like eachother very much will face off later tonight in Edmonton. The Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers have another preseason matchup tonight for fans to get excited about.
The Edmonton Oilers lineup is starting to become more concrete. The team’s top nine and defence looks NHL ready tonight as the Oilers and Flames faceoff, it is those final few spots that are still up for grabs.
The Edmonton Oilers have a few more position battles to monitor.
Guys like Devin Shore, and Brendan Perlini have a lot riding on tonight’s game. Perlini has been one of the top players this preseason, but the NHL is about what you do in the next game, especially during the preseason.
If Perlini has even one night off during the preseason that could see the end of him making the lineup. So tonight’s game definitely has a lot on the line for him as he gets another opportunity to play.

Smith was scheduled to start but left practice yesterday not feeling well. Oilers lineup v. Flames tonight.
The Calgary Flames will be on the road tonight against a team that they do not get along with. Hopefully, the home team can keep them in check and make sure this game does not get too out of hand when it comes to the physical side of things.
The preseason is about a lot of things, but hurting guys on the other team should not be one of them. While physicality is what is going to get some players in the bottom six of both teams’ chances in the lineup, it shouldn’t come at the expense of an injury to anyone on the roster, especially during a preseason game.
Tonight’s game will also be the first time Oilers fans will get to see Duncan Keith in action with the team. Hopefully, he looks a step faster than last season now on a different team closer to his family.
