Washington Capitals

April 2, 2013

The last trade between the Oilers and the 2018 Stanley Cup Champions came all the way back in 2013 when Edmonton sent Dane Byers to Washington for Garrett Stafford in return.

Colorado Avalanche

February 28, 2011

I am shocked there have not been more trades between the Oilers and Avalanche. Colorado is such a good team, but a few short seasons ago they were one of the worst in the league. Everyone has been watching as we have seen both sides of the Oilers, both good and bad. I am shocked there was not even one trade between the two franchises.

Carolina Hurricanes

June 26, 2010

Not much really needs to be said about the trade this far down on the list. Riley Nash was sent to the Hurricanes for a 2nd round pick ahead of the draft. Edmonton drafted Martin Marincin with the second-round pick.
