Edmonton Oilers vs. Calgary Flames: Lineups, Injuries, Livestream, More
The Battle of Alberta is upon us! For the first time this season, the Edmonton Oilers hit the road to face the Calgary Flames in what will more than likely be the most talked-about hockey game this weekend. We all remember what happened the last time these two teams met as emotions will be high tonight in the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Even defenseman Tyson Barrie knows that things could get chippy but at the end of the day, it’s all about continuing that winning momentum by the Oilers. They’ve won their last three games and if they were to make it four straight, will undoubtedly help their chances to continue climbing up the North Division.
Hopefully, this is a game that goes in the way of the Oilers as they’re heavily favored to leave this game victorious. Expect to see a handful of penalties, maybe even a fight or two, but in the grand scheme of things, the Oilers have the offense and a capable defense to get the job done tonight. Now it’s all a matter if they can put everything together and focus on the task at hand and not so much what happened last year between these two teams battling for bragging rights.
