Edmonton Oilers vs. Jets: Lineups, Streaming, TV, More
The Edmonton Oilers are shooting to have for the first time this season, back-to-back wins. They won their last matchup against the Winnipeg Jets 4-3 thanks to an incredible buzzer-beating goal scored by Leon Draisaitl. Hopefully, the Oilers repeat this success and leave this game victorious before heading back home to face the Toronto Maple Leafs.
For tonight’s game, head coach Dave Tippett made some interesting roster changes involving taxi squad players. Forwards Patrick Russell and Jujhar Khaira were promoted to the active lineup as hopefully, this helps them get more a bit more aggressive when it matters most.
Mainly because it’s no secret that the biggest weakness facing the Oilers right now boils down to their lack of aggression at the start of hockey games. If they were to attack early and more efficiently, they should undoubtedly beat the Jets and carry some incredible momentum for their next slate of home games. If they can score a goal or two in the 1st period, it will set things up nicely throughout the game for the Oilers to keep the Jets in check instead of having to play catch up like the last time.
