Edmonton Oilers vs. Maple Leafs: Date, Time, TV, Streaming, More
The Edmonton Oilers hit the road for the first time this season against the top team in the North Division, the Toronto Maple Leafs. All eyes will be on tonight’s nationally televised matchup as it’ll be the first of nine meetings between Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews.
Both these players are always fun to watch as they’re two of the brightest centers currently playing today. Of course, both teams at this point in time are on opposite sides of the spectrum. The Maple Leafs are the cream of the crop so far in the North Division, as they’re 3-1-0 coming off back-to-back wins.
The Oilers, on the other hand, are 1-3-0 and have a few problems already. They were the best team in 2020 when it came to Power Play execution and even though it’s a small sample size, it seems they have forgotten how to make the most of such opportunities. At any rate, it will be a great sight to see McDavid against Matthews in what should hopefully be a close and entertaining game.
