Wrap-up

This tweet really helped me make up my mind on whether or not Keith Gretzky should be a legitimate candidate for the Oilers GM position. The answer to the tweet is no, he wouldn’t. So if he wouldn’t be a candidate for any other position in the league, he shouldn’t be a candidate in Edmonton either.

He has had some glorious moments in his time under various positions in the NHL but has also been apart of some of the biggest mistakes seen in the modern-era.

To sum it up, if Keith Gretzky was given the full-time gig as Oilers GM — I would not be fully confident with the future direction of the franchise.

Would you?
