<p>The Oilers announced that Mark Arcobello is headed back to OKC after one game with the big club.  Arcobello was called up after <strong><a href="http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/h/horcosh01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-oilonwhyte.com" target="_blank">Shawn Horcoff</a></strong>  was ruled out with a busted knuckle during Monday&#8217;s game against Vancouver.</p>
<p>Arcobello found himself on the top line in his NHL debut, playing between <strong><a href="http://www.hockey-reference.com/player_search.cgi?search=Taylor+Hall&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-oilonwhyte.com" target="_blank">Taylor Hall</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/e/eberljo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-oilonwhyte.com" target="_blank">Jordan Eberle</a></strong> in last night&#8217;s 3-2 overtime loss to Dallas.</p>
<p>Arcobello finished with 18:15 in ice time and two blocked shots.  He was 3 for 10 at the dot.</p>
<p>Hey, pull out your daubers, it&#8217;s time for an injury bingo update.</p>
<p><strong>ERIC BELANGER</strong></p>
<p>There&#8217;s some talk to whether or not <strong><a href="http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/b/belaner01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-oilonwhyte.com" target="_blank">Eric Belanger</a></strong> will be ready to play sometime this weekend. Belanger suffered a couple of broken toes and an &#8220;open wound&#8221; from taking a puck to the foot in Saturday&#8217;s game against Colorado. Belanger&#8217;s faceoff numbers have been solid this season, and getting him back in the lineup would be a pretty nice coup especially with Horcoff out. More on that as it becomes available. For now, it&#8217;s a nice thought.</p>
<p>Update:  Looks like <a href="https://twitter.com/dantencer/status/299585091104026625" target="_blank">he could go on Sunday</a>.</p>
<p><strong>ANTON LANDER</strong></p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/l/landean01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-oilonwhyte.com" target="_blank">Anton Lander</a></strong> was seen on crutches after last night&#8217;s 3-2 OT loss to Dallas.  Lander took a puck to his foot, and suffered what&#8217;s being called a &#8220;bone bruise&#8221;.  Unsure of his status for the weekend.</p>
<p>Update:  <a href="https://twitter.com/ParkerVizion/status/299580772740890625" target="_blank">I wouldn&#8217;t count on this weekend</a>.</p>
<p><strong>RYAN NUGENT-HOPKINS</strong></p>
<p>Another question mark for this weekend.  He sat out last game due to a shoulder issue.  To the relief of absolutely no one, it was said to be a different shoulder issue than the run of the mill Nugent-Hopkins shoulder issues that we&#8217;ve grown to love to hate.</p>
<p>Update:  <a href="https://twitter.com/OilersNow/status/299599734350438400" target="_blank">He&#8217;s expected to play both games</a>.  Score.</p>
<p>Another call to the farm team?  Heck, expect one anyways.  One that plays up the middle, and has two of the letter V in his last name.</p>

<p><strong>A LITTLE ABOUT ARCOBELLO</strong></p>
<p>The 24 year old Arcobello will be in the lineup for Wednesday&#8217;s game versus Dallas.</p>
<p>It will be his NHL debut.</p>
<p>Arcobello has 39 points (14-25-39) in 43 games.  Nearly half of those points were tallied while playing with Hall and Eberle during the NHL lockout.</p>
<p>Arcobello will find himself on the third line between <strong><a href="http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/s/smythry01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-oilonwhyte.com" target="_blank">Ryan Smyth</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/p/petrele01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-oilonwhyte.com" target="_blank">Lennart Petrell</a></strong> while <strong><a href="http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/l/landean01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-oilonwhyte.com" target="_blank">Anton Lander</a></strong> holds steady as 4C.</p>
<p>Arcobello started at this year&#8217;s AHL Dunkin&#8217; Donuts All Star Game in Providence, a game that saw him net three assists.</p>
<p>Trial by fire for Mark Arcobello. He&#8217;s getting thrown into a compromising situation. <strong><a href="http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/h/horcosh01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-oilonwhyte.com" target="_blank">Shawn Horcoff</a></strong> evoked the ire of many an Oilers fan for not lighting up the scoresheet after landing his six year deal. But, don&#8217;t underestimate Horcoff. Not only is Horcoff a pretty good player at the dot (he&#8217;s averaged 50% or greater at the dot in every game he&#8217;s played this season, save the last game against Vancouver), at 34 years of age, he hasn&#8217;t shown any signs of eroding play. He&#8217;s still a valuable contributor to the bottom six (and, to the team overall), which is something we couldn&#8217;t say about the latter stages of <strong><a href="http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/m/moreaet01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-oilonwhyte.com" target="_blank">Ethan Moreau</a></strong>.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s hoping Arcobello can pick up some of the pieces left from Horcoff&#8217;s absence.</p>
