The Edmonton Oilers are readying themselves for Game 4 Tuesday, where they can take control. If they win, they will take a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Sharks.

One thing that has helped the Oilers in their quest is their ability to get off to a physical start and keep up with their opponents. They allowed themselves to be heavily outplayed in Game 1, and have since been incredibly disciplined. If they can keep that up, they have a huge chance of winning Game 4. Here is everything you need to know prior to puck drop.

Head coach Todd McLellan shuffled the lines in Game 3. He put Leon Draisaitl with Zack Kassian and Drake Caggiula and then promoted Anton Slepyshev to the top unit. While it’s unclear if that will remain the same, the moves didn’t pack too much of a poor impact; in fact, the players played solidly and proved to be interchangeable.

Leon Draisaitl has yet to score a point so far in the postseason but seems to have created solid opportunities. When he’s alone and entering the zone with the puck, he can create dangerous scoring chances and be lethal.

However, the player to watch is Zack Kassian, who has two key goals for the team in this series and has brought tremendous speed, physicality and ability to the lineup.

Oscar Klefbom has been one of the team’s top defenceman, and considering the Oilers’ defence corps, Matthew Benning has been excellent too. Both have presented physicality and have shown their worth, and also get involved in the rush.

Cam Talbot will also have to remain sharp but has stood on his head over the course of this series. He will definitely be an asset in the team’s quest to victory Tuesday. The puck drops at 8 p.m. MT.
