Edmonton Oilers @ Nashville Predators
25 MAR 2013 – 6:00 PM
Television – Sportsnet West
Predlines is the home of the Predators on the Fansided Network.
- GETTING KIND OF CRAMPED HERE – This is it. There are eighteen more games remaining in the season, and the Oilers need to win at least twelve. They’ve got their work cut out, as they’ve won just eleven of their first thirty.
- ENTER THE PREDATORS – The Oilers defeated Nashville 3-2 last week in a game that featured a hilarious line change by Sergei Kostitsyn. Predators are 1-1 since playing Edmonton, and are 4-5-1 in their last ten. The Oilers will look to rebound after a lacklustre 19 shot effort against St. Louis that saw them score zero goals on Saturday. Oilers are 3-4-3 in their last ten.
- LINE CHANGE – Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has been cleared to play after missing the past two games with the flu. Lennart Petrell will sit this one out, and Teemu Hartikainen has been sent back to OKC (booo). Some good – Ryan Smyth is finally out of 4C. Corey Potter is in for Ryan Whitney.
- IN NET - Pekka Rinne (12-10-5, 2.32 / .911) is expected to start for Nashville tonight, while Devan Dubnyk (8-9-6, 2.71, .916) will go for Edmonton after getting a night off this past Saturday.
Now go win. Win some more. Or don’t, and we’ll sell all the loose pieces next week.
