This is game three of the nine game roadie™. Things have not yet hit a pothole, as the Oilers have three points out of a possible four so far.
- Both Edmonton and St. Louis are on the other side of back-to-backs. Oilers coming off a 5-1 victory in Dallas last night, a game that saw them score four even strength goals. Oilers would do well to replicate that performance. Blues are coming off a 3-0 shutout loss to the Blackhawks.
- LINE CHANGE – Ryan Whitney and Theo Peckham will take the third defence pairing tonight. Mark Fistric (elbow) and Corey Potter (head) are both day to day. Other than that, your lineup will remain the same. Magnus Paajarvi remains strangely absent.
- INJURED BLUES – Alex Steen, (upper body) Andy McDonald, (knee) and Vladimir Tarasenko (concussion) are out tonight.
- IN GOAL Devan Dubnyk will try and replicate yesterday’s performance with a second consecutive start. Dubnyk is 6-5-3 on the season with a 2.66 GAA and .921 SV%. Jaroslav Halak will go for St. Louis, he’s 4-1-1 with a 1.88 GAA and .904 SV%.
Four more even strength goals. That’s all it’ll take.
