The Edmonton Oilers have announced goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has been placed on the injured reserve list.
Suspecting that Khabibulin is nothing too serious, just a flare-up in the hip/groin area. But going on IR means Dubnyk starts 3 in a row

If it is in fact a groin injury, you’d think it was from the last save attempt of the night from Monday’s OT loss.
