Fresh off a conditioning stint in OKC, the Oilers are going to throw Theo Peckham into the bottom pair tonight with Mark Fistric. Ideally, this should help to provide for some rough roads for opposing forwards.  Whether or not this translates to helping keep goals out of the net remains to be seen.  Peckham will likely be swinging  at anything with a Wild logo on it, so it looks to at least be an entertaining set-up.

As a result of Theo Peckham getting slotted in, Ryan Whitney will be scratched

Lennart Petrell is also scratched for tonight, but Krueger seems to think he’ll be a go for Saturday.  Ryan Jones is getting closer to coming back to the fray, so things will get even more interesting on the bottom six in the coming days.
