- Oilers come into Calgary after an emotional 2-1 OT victory that’s been covered pretty extensively. Calgary looks for their first win of the season in this year’s first Battle of Alberta.
- So far this season, we’ve seen entirely too much of Edmonton’s penalty kill. Calgary’s kill rate is at 75%. That number might be a little low due to it still being early in the season, the Oilers will look to exploit every chance they get.
- LINE CHANGE: Out goes Teemu Hartikainen, in comes Darcy Hordichuk. Magnus Paajarvi gets to fly with 94 and 10 on the right side. Maybe Hordichuk will end up playing more than two minutes tonight.
- Curtis Glencross currently leads the Flames with four points (2-2-4) in three GP.
Tom Kowal and Greg Kimmerly are reffing the game again tonight

- If that’s true, then please pull out a number two pencil and some loose-leaf notebook paper. These are the same two gents that helped referee the last game at Rexall Place. You might remember the one with the in-the-crease call with a minute remaining. The one that rained down $8.00 beer and Boston Pizza boxes late in the third. That one.
Join the brigade on Twitter. There’ll be much to talk about.
