The 2013 Oilers Schedule Has Been Released, Oilers Will Open In Vancouver

The Edmonton Oilers will open their 2013 shortened season on the road in Vancouver before playing two games at home.

Note the nine game marathon away from Rexall starting in late February.

The Oilers will take on the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena on January 20th at 6PM. Edmonton’s home opener will be against San Jose on Tuesday, the 22nd. They will then take on the LA Kings on Thursday, the 24th.

The first Battle of Alberta will take place on Saturday, January 26th at the Saddledome in Calgary.

Here are a few dates of importance:

At Calgary: 26 JAN, 3 APR
Vs Calgary: 1 APR, 13 APR

Three games versus Calgary in ten days.

At Vancouver: 20 JAN, 4 APR
Vs Vancovuer: 4 FEB, 30 MAR, 27 APR

Edmonton opens the 48 game season in Vancouver, and they’ll end it at Rexall at the end of April.

At Minnesota: 3 MAR, 26 APR
Vs Minnesota: 21 FEB, 16 APR

Oilers won’t see Minnesota until near the end of February, and will play the Wild on the penultimate day of the season before heading home to finish against Vancouver.

At Colorado: 12 MAR, 19 APR
Vs. Colorado: 28 JAN, 16 FEB
