Circus Of The Bizarre

I’m not a big fan of these Vancouver Canucks.

Oh sure, I think Gino Odjick is an alright guy, and Trevor Linden was a classy individual. Pavel Bure was a huge talent, and not all Canucks fans are terrible.

While I’m paying out compliments to the Canucks, I’d also like to ask them if they can correctly identify who spiked their drinking water.

Cam Barker is likely getting a tryout with the Vancouver Canucks.  Cam Barker was the third overall pick in the 2004 draft.  You may remember Cam in Oiler threads during the 2011-12 season.  Barker agreed to a one year, 2.25M with the Oilers.  At the conclusion of the season, Barker was not tendered a qualifying offer and became a UFA.

Barker spent a couple dozen games with the Texas Stars during the lockout.  And now, the Canucks reportedly are going to have him at their training camp.

I wish Cam Barker the best of success with the Canucks.

I hope they lock him up for a three year deal.
