We’re slashing games, left and right!  Buy one game at regular price, get the second for a penny.  If you can find games at a better price…well, you know.

I’d be lying if I told you that there was a whole lot of big NHL news.  There isn’t.  So, some of the following stories are a bit off the beaten past

Black Dog Hates Skunks :  Billy Conn – BD on boxing, Twitter, and the never-ending saga that is the dirty set of underwear known as the labour negotiations.

Huffington Post :  NHL Lockout 2012 – Linking from the Huffington Post, are we now?  If for no other reason than a story about a Penguins fan turned Blue Jackets fan, yes.  I mean, it’s something that the NHL has cancelled all games until the middle of December, and the NHL pulled the All-Star Game, but this has to be the first recorded instance of a Penguins fan turning to the Jackets.

Dallas Cowboys’ trade of Herschel Walker led Nordiques to Lindros Deal – Exactly what I was thinking.  Cowboys trade Walker, Nordiques trade Lindros.  Sure.

TSN:  NHL cancels All-Star Weekend and Games through December 14th – Another take on some happy news.  The kids are gonna love this!

Cult of Hockey / David Staples – Two Taylors and One Tyler show Promise in OKC – Hall, Pitlick and Fedun have all suffered various injuries throughout their careers, but all are  impressing at various levels with the Barons.

Enjoy your Sunday.
