The NHL has begun firing up the NHL Lockout tour by cancelling the first two weeks of the 2012-13 NHL season. If you’re at all shocked because of this, I urge you to get it all out of your system now. With each passing day, the chances of the NHL getting back on track for the 2012-13 season keep getting slimmer, so go and act out your grievances before we continue.
If you haven’t found something else to do, now’s the time (at least for the first two weeks of the season). In any event, we’re going to be stepping up the OKC Barons content around these parts, and it would behoove you to check out what could be a point onslaught by guys like Jordan Eberle and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. It’ll also be the first look for many of Justin Schultz. And Yann Danis, can’t have too much Yann.
“Two weeks” in this instance ranges from October 11th to October 24th, when likely two more weeks (or more) will be taken from the remaining games. You may begin copiously drinking…now.
