Ryan Jones Appears In Latest "You Can Play" Promo

Ryan Jones is featured in the You Can Play program’s latest promo, and there’s no analysis needed.  It’s awesome.

You’ve likely seen the You Can Play folks around the Internet.  If by some chance you haven’t, the You Can Play movement was launched in March of 2012.  The mission of the movement is ensuring equality, respect and safety for all athletes in all sports, without regard to sexual orientation. It was founded by Glenn Witman, Brian Kitts and Patrick Burke (some of you may be familiar with his father), and it has garnered the attention and support of many current NHL players, like Zdeno Chara, Shea Weber, and even the guys from the TSN broadcast booth.

Ryan Jones is the second Edmonton Oiler to appear in a You Can Play promo.  Jordan Eberle appeared with Blues goaltender Brian Elliott in one as well.  Whether or not you’re a big Ryan Jones fan, we can all agree that this is a pretty cool step taken by one of Edmonton’s fan favourites.
