Once Again, The Draft Simulator.

Because we’ve gotten so good at draft lotteries over the past couple of years, the Oilers felt it a good enough idea to bring the Draft Lottery Simulator back to the throngs of fans!

The Oilers hold an 18.8% chance of landing the first overall pick come this June.   Because the Columbus Blue Jackets finished considerably worse than the Oilers this year (thank God), they have more balls in the popper, and have a 25% chance of winning the lottery outright, and a near 50% chance of remaining first overall in the draft.

If that makes you ask questions, I don’t blame you.  Just know that Columbus has a better chance of winning the thing than Edmonton does.  Edmonton could end up picking as high as 1, they could stay in second, or they could fall to the third overall pick.  The draft order will be set on Tuesday night.  Grab the popcorn.  It’s sure to be another nail biter this year.

Click here to play along once again this year.  And if the Oilers don’t win when you click, you can either press F5 until they do, or you can choose your own real life adventure and find someone to argue with about who the Oilers should pick should they drop to third.
