The Oilers have announced today that Jordan Eberle will likely miss two to three weeks from a knee injury he suffered in Dallas.
Eberle’s knee was injured when he fell after a collision with Dallas’ Jamie Benn. Eberle currently leads the Oilers in scoring with 43 points (17-26-43) in 41 games played.
Both he and Nugent-Hopkins have a similar timetable for return. I’m not big about the All-Star game, but seeing Eberle on the ice would’ve been nice for everyone. This knee injury puts Eberle’s presence in the All Star Game in jeopardy.
Eberle appears optimistic he’ll return early. Don’t rush it, man!
