  • Coach Renney has said he’d like to take eight points from this current road trip.  The Oilers can do it, but they’ll have to win tonight in Chicago, tomorrow in Buffalo, Thursday in St. Louis, and Saturday in Dallas.  Completely possible.  Now prove me wrong.

  • HARSKI UP, PETRELL DOWN:  Not sure the motive of this move, but Teemu Hartikainen has been called up from OKC.  Lennart Petrell has been sent down.  Suspiciously and probably still in the lineup is Ben Eager, who will never be scratched if he’s in the lineup today after his game in Long Island.
  • I HEAR YOU CALLING, MARIAN: Chicago tends to be a pretty good team these days.  Leading their wagon is Marian Hossa, who has 41 points (17-24-41) in 37 games.  There’s a few other guys with names like Toews, Kane and Sharp who are right behind him.
  • Devan Dubnyk is slated to get the go ahead tonight between the pipes, he’ll be looking to rebound from his performance on Saturday.  Look for Nikolai Khabibulin to get the nod tomorrow in Buffalo.
