Welcome to the Make Or Break portion of the 2011-12 NHL Oilers.  The Oilers have got to take some serious points from this road trip if they’re even going to entertain making the second season.  Taking two points against the Wild would be a good start tonight.

  • FUN FACT:  The Wild haven’t won a game since 1976.
  • Already, this is the final meeting between the Oilers and Wild this season.  Oilers have taken seven points in five previous contests.
  • Mikko Koivu currently leads the Wild in scoring with 30 points in 34 contests.
  • Ales Hemsky is a game time decision with a sinus infection.  Would be somewhat surprised if he didn’t go.  No Darcy Hordichuk in the lineup, as Lennart Petrell slots back in at 4RW.  Nikolai Khabibulin will be the go-to guy between the pipes to start.  Remain calm.
