- 2 BITS: The Oilers have reclaimed Taylor Chorney from the Blues, and Colten Teubert has been assigned to OKC. What does this have to do with tonight’s game? A big nothing. Thought I’d pass it along.

Boston has had an interesting start to their season. They played poor enough to fall to the cellar of the Eastern Conference, but have roared back like an unquenchable heartburn over their last three games. The Bruins enter tonight’s contest at 6-7-0, while the Oilers will look for their tenth victory on the season. Hopefully they can muster more than thirteen shots tonight.
- The second overall pick in the 2010 NHL Draft is currently leading Boston in scoring. Tyler Seguin has 15 points (8-7-15) in 13 GP.
- Forwards and defence will remain the same tonight.
- Devan Dubnyk will get the start tonight, looking to claim a win at the TD Garden. Dubnyk’s last start was a 4-2 defeat in Phoenix. His numbers are still killer at 2.19 GAA and .930 SV%. Expect Khabibulin to get the nod tomorrow in Detroit.
Your top five Oilers in scoring are…
- Ryan Smyth – 14 points (7-7-14) in 14 GP
- Ryan Nugent-Hopkins – 12 points (5-7-12) in 14 GP
- Jordan Eberle – 11 points (3-8-11) in 14 GP
- Taylor Hall – 9 points (3-6-9) in 13 GP
- Corey Potter – 8 points (2-6-8) in 12 GP and Shawn Horcoff - 8 points (2-6-8) in 14 GP.
And just cause I’d like to push the story, let’s say Taylor Hall scorers the GWG tonight.
