  • Taylor Hall is back in the saddle after missing last game with an illness.  He’s your number one on the 4-93-14 top line.
  • LINE SWTICH:  The Oilers have returned Jeff Petry to the OKC Barons in favour of Ryan Keller.   Renney sees something he likes in Corey Potter, and he’ll be lined up with Ryan Whitney for tonight’s matchup against Minnesota.
  • Nikolai Khabibulin is expected to start tonight.  Overall, no complaints from this camp about his performance this year.  While he allowed one goal in twelve shots in the last game he played, he’s still performed well above my expectations for him this season.
  • DID YOU KNOW? Lennart Petrell played over fifteen minutes of ice time in Edmonton’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Calgary.  Not bad for a guy who was a question mark to make the team at the start of the season.

It’s been what, one whole game since Nugent-Hopkins had a point?  Ryan Whitney starts feeling his old self, and the Oilers double up the Wild tonight.
