  • Ryan Whitney is back in tonight’s lineup for the first time in seventeen hundred years (okay, since December 2010).  The guy might be dusty his first few shifts, but it’s a welcome sight for sore eyes.  Barker teams up with Smid, and Sutton/Potter will try to keep the Oiler end clean.  Will Petry be sat down?  I ask because…
  • The Oilers Twitter account is quoted as saying Taylor Hall might be sat tonight due to illness.  Wait and see.
  • I don’t go into games ‘expecting’ anything, but if that first line is intact and doesn’t run up and down Calgary’s ice, I’d be somewhat surprised.  Nothing but good things from Edmonton’s youth movement so far.  In case you’re keeping score:  Nugent Hopkins has 5 points in four games, Hall has four in four, and Eberle has three in four.  Maybe the Flames will start Henrik Karlsson tonight.
  • Devan Dubnyk is back between the pipes for the Oilers.  Look for him to have a bounce-back performance from Saturday night.

I had the Polish Sausage.
