  • Lines 1 and 2 will bring home the turkey if you bring home the bacon.  RNH is centred between your main man Smytty and Jordan Eberle, while Gagner gets to play nice with Taylor and Tyler.  Horcoff will be in between the Swedish contingent, and line four will feature a getup of what I’d like to call “Players who will play when Ben Eager can’t”.  Eager still recovers from a concussion and whiplash he sustained while playing in the Joey Moss Cup on Sunday.  Let’s see if Darcy Hordichuk means what he said earlier this offseason.  Looking over Vancouver’s defence for tonight, I’d be surprised if team didn’t get more of their fair share of scoring chances.
  • Not sure if the team is going to split duties between Yann Danis and Devan Dubnyk, but if Dubnyk can stop more than three shots in ten, he should be fine.  I’d also be interested in seeing Danis play the whole way through.
  • The Edmonton Oilers’ defence on opening night is 1.5 injuries away from what you’ll see tonight.  Paging Chris Campoli, Bryan McCabe, or Steve Staios?

Join us on Twitter after the game, where hopefully we’ll all be in a great mood after RNH’s five point performance.
