Jeff Deslauriers To The Ducks: Another Goalie On The Way?

Wheels keep turnin’ this offseason for the Oilers.

Goaltender Jeff Deslauriers was picked up by the Anaheim Ducks yesterday.  Deslauriers spent the entire 2010-11 season with the farm club in Oklahoma City, posting a 17-13-4 and a .906 SV% to go along with his 2.81 GAA and 3 shutouts.  Deslauriers saw significant time in Edmonton during the 2009-10 season after Nikolai Khabibulin went down with a season ending back injury.

The movement of Deslauriers creates an opening for a goaltender on Oklahoma City.  Could be Olivier Roy paired up with Yann Danis.  Might be a couple of different names altogether.  Keep your eyes peeled, as it wouldn’t surprise me too awful much if Edmonton comes to a deal with another goalie between now and camp.
