The Oilers have come to terms with 2010 second round pick Tyler Pitlick.
Tyler Pitlick was Edmonton’s second pick in the 2010 NHL Entry draft at 31st overall. With all the ballyhoo about Taylor Hall or Tyler Seguin, it was easy for Pitlick to get lost under the hot lights and press ink.
Pitlick has just turned in an impressive regular season with Medicine Hat (along with Oilers goaltending prospect Tyler Bunz) scoring 62 points (27G-35A) in 56 games played. Currently, the Medicine Hat Tigers are up 3-0 in a best of seven series with the Red Deer Rebels (you may be familiar with Red Deer for some guy named Ryan Nugent-Hopkins)
Enjoying the playoffs? Cheering for the Blackhawks in their series against Vancouver? Both?
Me too. Soon, it will be ours.
