That’s “Associate Coach Krueger” To You

Former Swiss National Team coach Ralph Krueger has been named an associate coach for the Edmonton Oilers.

Of course. You know, Ralph Krueger.  Right?

You might have had a similar reaction upon hearing that THE Ralph Krueger was appointed to an
associate coaching position.

The newest associate coach for the Oilers had coached the Swiss National team for the previous 13 years, and also served as a consultant for the Carolina Hurricanes.

Is it October yet?

Also:  An arbiter awarded Hawks goaltender Antti Niemi $2.75M.  I think Chicago reluctantly sign that offer.  While that may be a little high for Stan Bowman’s blood, I’d say it’s more solid an investment than something like Clarke MacArthur’s $2.4M.
